An Urban Surf Shop
Atacama (ah-tah-KAH-mah, a word that is lost in translation, but is in reference to the Chilean desert) is a urban surf shop in downtown San Diego’s Little Italy district. Atacama features boards made by local shapers, including JEFF MCCALLUM and DERRICK DISNEY. The shop is set up to pay respect to the guys that are passionate with what they do.

Just like the residents of the Atacama Desert in Chile, Atacama Surf Shop strives to constantly reshape, redesign and reconstruct. We are proud of our San Diego origins, and we welcome collaborations with emerging artists while supporting longtime visionaries.
