Atacama (ah-tah-KAH-mah, a word that is lost in translation, but is in reference to the Chilean desert) is a surf shop located in the Leucadia neighborhood of Encinitas. Atacama features boards made by local shaper JEFF MCCALLUM. The shop is set up to pay respect to the people that are passionate with what they do.

Just like the residents of the Atacama Desert in Chile, Atacama Surf Shop strives to constantly reshape, redesign and reconstruct. We are proud of our San Diego origins, and we welcome collaborations with emerging artists while supporting longtime visionaries.
